PORT-NAVALO LIGHTHOUSE

The Port-Navalo lighthouse is a lighthouse located on the Rhuys peninsula, in Port-Navalo, in the town of Arzon. Erected opposite the tip of Kerpenhir in the town of Locmariaquer, the lighthouse marks the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan from Mor braz.

THE POINTE DE PEN-LAN LIGHTHOUSE

It is the southernmost lighthouse in the department of Morbihan. After numerous modifications, it ended up completely fulfilling its function of watching over the entrance to the Vilaine.

KERBEL LIGHTHOUSE

Throughout her life, Honorine Le Guen, the first woman lighthouse keeper in France, took care of the Kerbel Lighthouse on a daily basis in order to guide the sailors who entered the harbor of Lorient. Today, although the improvement of navigation systems has made it obsolete, the Phare de Kerbel, always a precursor, has been transformed to become the only habitable lighthouse in France at its summit, offering each of us , the possibility of following in the footsteps of Honorine…

KERDONIS LIGHTHOUSE

Overlooking the islands of Houat and Hoëdic, it marks the southern entrance to the Courreaux de Belle-Ile and commands the only passable access to the Gulf of Morbihan. This flagship house was inhabited by the caretaker Désiré Matelot, his wife Eugénie and their three children.

GOULPHAR LIGHTHOUSE

The Grand Phare (or Goulphar) is one of the most powerful lighthouses in Europe, located in the town of Bangor and was commissioned in 1836. Goulphar is a 52-meter granite tower adjoined by technical buildings and the caretakers' houses, classified as "MH" since May 2011.

The Poulains Lighthouse has existed since 1868.
Located at the end of the northern tip of Belle-Île, it is now automated and operates thanks to solar panels installed on part of the roof.

To observe this flagship house more closely, it is possible - at low tide - to walk to the islet located at the end of Pointe des Poulains. 

THE PEN-MEN LIGHTHOUSE

From its height of 27 meters, this lighthouse is the most powerful in Morbihan with a range of 29 miles or about 54 km. It is automated but still guarded. The sailors are eager to find him because he signals the return home.

The Teignouse lighthouse is a Morbihan lighthouse located between the Quiberon peninsula and the island of Houat, in the extension of the tip of Conguel. It marks the passage of the Teignouse to leave the bay of Quiberon

BIRVIDEAUX LIGHTHOUSE

It is certainly the most misunderstood lighthouse at sea, probably because it has never been inhabited, and yet it was one of the most difficult and expensive to build It is built on a rocky flat located roughly between the islands of Groix and Belle-Ile to the southeast.

THE LIGHTHOUSE OF THE GREAT CARDINALS

Located not far from the southeast of the island of Hoëdic, it secures the entrance to the bay of Quiberon. Innovative and feared by its guardians, it was recently listed as a Historic Monument thanks to a dynamic local association.
